When is the draw for The Parents Lottery?
The draw for The Parents Lottery is every Friday except for public holidays when the draw will take place on the following working day.
How will I know if I have won a prize on The Parents Lottery
Winning numbers will be published on the website each week but we will also write to you if you hold a winning ticket
How do winning numbers work?
Every Friday a winning number is drawn at random. Winners must match 3, 4, 5 or all 6 digits of the winning number in the correct order in the sequence.

How much does The Parents Lottery cost per ticket?
£1 per ticket. You may play up to a maximum of six tickets per week.
What prizes are up for grabs?
Each week you will have the chance to win one of our guaranteed prizes, which are:
Match 6 digits in the correct order - £25,000
Match 5 digits in the correct order - £1,000
Match 4 digits in the correct order -£25
Match 3 digits in the correct order - £5
Match 6 digits in the correct order - £25,000

What percentage of my The Parents Lottery ticket goes to schools?
From 1st January to 31st December 2025, they will receive 60%. From 1st January 2026 onwards, PTAs in paid Parentkind membership will receive 60% and non-member PTAs and schools will receive 50%

How many The Parents Lottery tickets can I buy?
You can buy up to 6 tickets per week, per draw
Can I choose my own The Parents Lottery numbers?
No, the Parents Lottery numbers are randomly generated and once allocated you will have the same numbers for every draw
When will my numbers be entered into a draw?
Your numbers will be entered into the first draw the month after payment has been taken

When will my first The Parents Lottery payment be taken?
The Parents Lottery payments will be taken immediately for card payments and within 14 days for Direct Debit payments
How do I know my money has been taken?
The direct debit or debit card reference on your bank statements will read Parentslott

How will our supporters find our PTA or school on the website to nominate us as their chosen beneficiary?
Your supporters can find your PTA or school by:
Searching the name of your school
Searching the association name
Searching the school’s postcode
Via a link directly to your page

Is there a minimum or maximum number of tickets that can be sold with us as a nominated beneficiary?
No. Every ticket sold with your PTA or school as the nominated beneficiary will raise 60%*of the ticket price. The other 40% covers prizes and administration.
Can funds be paid into any bank account?
No. The bank account must be in the name of the PTA or school registered
When and how will funds be paid?
Payments will be made by BACS transfer only
Payments will be made within 14 days of the published date. Any payments due for August of each year will be included in the winter term

Spring term - 4th April 2025
Summer term - 22nd July 2025
Winter term - 20th December 2025

We are a Friends Association – can we register to benefit?
Yes. We use the term PTA to mean any parent body associated with an educational establishment in England, Wales or Scotland, for which your association raises funds for the benefit of the school community. We welcome all parent groups, PTAs, PTFAs, Friends Associations, Community Associations, HSAs etc.
We are a school, do we need to be a registered charity?
No. Your school does not need to be a registered charity to benefit, but we advise checking your fundraising policy for any fundraising limitations
